Skinshape X Horus

London dub kinesthetists Skinshape and Horus All Stars circle back to where their story began, with a new all-analogue reggae and dub LP. It’s the first time they’ve headlined their own bill, topping the Horus catalogue rather than curating it. Will Dorey and Ben Bell’s friendship stretches over 20 years, and the feel of the record reflects said comradeship: horn parts glide through ‘Bettina’, Modou Toure lifts ‘N’Tero’, and veteran vocalist Winston Reedy slips into ‘Looky Looky’ as if the riddim were tailored to his measure. The duo’s mode of reimagining deep reggae rekindles again in their offbeat take on ‘Interstellar’, while ‘Act Like You Know’ taps a tougher, rootsier pulse. First released in 2025, the album anchors itself in north London studios, where Bell also runs Lion Vibes, a hard-rooted hub for collectors.
